Build a community / Increase capacity training

• Bring together Late Blight (LB) stakeholders in Asia : International conferences/workshop
• Promote scientific collaboration on Late Blight between Asian countries, foster the sharing of LB information and epidemiology
• Build capacity in Asia, through workshops, regarding Late Blight
• Help establish dynamic relationships with EuroBlight, TizonLatino and USABlight

Create communication platform

• WeChat groups, website, newsletter

Research:

• Genotyping, phenotyping of late blight and publish the results
• Help monitor fungicide effectiveness
• Forecasting the incidence of the disease: present DSS tools

Bring the network to its financial independence

• Support AsiaBlight’s fundraising efforts, together with CCCAP
